Rebekah has a passion for traditional Persian food & authentic ingredients and as always, on these courses she will show you how to prepare and cook all of her favourite dishes from her childhood. Using the highest quality ingredients and sustainably sourced goat (within 5 miles of our cookery school) you’ll learn how to create delicious show-stopping recipes with accomplished chef Rebekah Jones.
With Rebekah’s expert guidance, you’ll get to recreate Persian cuisine using authentic ingredients.
You’ll learn how to enhance your own cooking skills, preparation techniques such as knife skills, and how to work with spices to get maximum flavour in your Persian recipes.
Rebekah has a passion for bringing Persian and Middle Eastern food into people’s homes all the while showing how accessible and delicious it is.

Learn how to prepare and cook perfect traditional Persian rice using the absorption method
Learn how to make falafel
How to make their own middle eastern cheese
How to work with spices and blend them according to tastes
How to use saffron and rose in baking
Making a yoghurt syrup cake and baking with nut flour
Learn how to steep and pour traditional Persian Chai
This full day cookery course takes place in the historic town of Eccleshall, in the heart of rural Staffordshire. Easily accessed from Derbyshire, Shropshire and Cheshire, we are only minutes from the M6, A51, A50 and the A34. We have free on-site parking.
Our “kitchen angels” will support you on the day and ensure you have everything you need. We’ll provide an apron, and all the equipment and ingredients you need. We’ll even do the washing up!
You’ll be sitting down to eat the dishes you have cooked with the rest of the course participants. It’s a great chance to share your cooking experiences, not to mention some great food and drink.
The course will commence at 10.00 am to 4.00 pm and you can join the team for refreshments from 9.45 am.
You’ll be provided with an apron, equipment and all the ingredients needed for the day. More specific information will be sent to you by email when you book your course.
Rebekah is a Persian Chef and Author of the cook book ‘My Little Persian Kitchen’. A self-taught cook and Persian enthusiast, she has a passion for bringing Persian and Middle Eastern food into people’s homes all the while showing how accessible and delicious it is.
