Introducing our Master Butcher, otherwise known as Stephen Hill, who developed an interest in butchery at just 14 years of age. He studied at Birmingham College of Food and his knowledge deepened further in the artisan techniques of curing and smoking.

This BBQ experience takes place in the historic town of Eccleshall, in the heart of rural Staffordshire. Easily accessed from Derbyshire, Shropshire and Cheshire, we are only minutes from the M6, A51, A50 and the A34. We have free on-site parking.

Our “kitchen angels” will support you on the day and ensure you have everything you need. We’ll provide an apron, and all the equipment and ingredients you need. We’ll even do the washing up!

You will learn about BBQ methods, managing heat, offset & indirect and direct heat.  Also, you will get to cook over and next to coals.

You’ll learn how to prepare and cook your own signature burgers and kebabs.   This is a great chance to share your cooking experiences, not to mention eat some great food and drink.

We make a conscious effort to reduce waste and encourage you to bring your own containers to transport your goodies home. If you don’t have containers or forget to bring them with you don’t worry, we will provide you with containers.

Our course runs from 10 am to 12pm and you can join the team for refreshments from  9.45 am.

You’ll be provided with an apron, equipment and all the ingredients needed for the cookery course. More specific information will be sent to you by email when you book your course.  Due to the nature of this course Juniors have to be a minimum of 10 years old.

No prior experience is necessary for this BBQ experience.   It will appeal to keen junior cooking enthusiasts and those who want to develop their skills and knowledge.

It will be a wonderful experience and you will learn new techniques from Stephen who is passionate about creating delicious food using quality ingredients.

You’ll meet new people and enjoy the hospitality of the Perrys Field to Fork team, also eating your own creations.
